My Story

My own story exemplifies this. Witnessing the shortcomings of the Western medical system with regard to my brother during his battle with cancer and later to both my parents with heart disease, a profound fear of illness was instilled within me, particularly of cancer. I suddenly became acutely aware of the lack of education around preventative health as I tried to understand how I lost my immediate family to chronic disease in such a short amount of time.

Later, as I worked with oncology clients and their female caregivers navigating the emotional and physical toll of caring for their loved ones, I saw a disturbing pattern. Fear, exhaustion, and a desperate search for answers often led them down paths of restrictive diets and conflicting information while neglecting their own well-being. Their symptoms ranged from fatigue to weight gain and everything in between.

It became clear that a different approach was needed, one that addressed the root cause – metabolic dysregulation – and empowered women to become active participants in their health.
