Dandelion Root Chai Latte Mix
Makes 4 cups
4.5 cups filtered water
2 T dandelion root granules
1 T cardamom pods, slightly crushed
2 cinnamon sticks
6 whole star anise
8 whole cloves
10 whole black peppercorns
1 one-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled, smashed
Place all ingredients in a small pot and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to a simmer, and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Strain and store refrigerated for up to 10 days.
